I sought out USC in desperation after I had been undergoing fertility treatments for nearly six years at two other clinics that treated me like a nameless widget being pushed through an assembly line. USC was a breath of fresh air. At my initial consultation, Dr. Bendikson listened carefully to my medical history and my goals for continuing treatment. She then formulated a detailed, personalized plan for me. She took the time to explain every step and why it made sense for me.

Once my treatments began at USC, Dr. Bendikson was attentive and respectfully answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. Unlike my previous doctors, she was willing to do the hard work so that I could try a special type of embryo transfer. This procedure is very effective, but other clinics are unwilling to perform it because it is trickier and requires more attention than conventional embryo transfers. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Bendikson for her willingness to undertake this procedure for me.

In addition to being smart and up-to-date on the latest research, Dr. Bendikson is also a kind, compassionate human being. She always responded to my emails in a timely manner, and she could sense when I needed some extra reassurance or a dose of her humor.

On the few occasions when Dr. Bendikson was not available to see me during an appointment, I was seen by Dr. Smith or Dr. Ho. They both also provided compassionate care and took the time to explain each procedure. All of the physicians and nursing staff who took care of me were fully apprised of my case, ensuring complete continuity of care. I am so grateful to have had Dr. Bendikson and USC Fertility by my side, helping me and cheering me on during my journey to motherhood.
