Joie Guner MD has received impressive training in reproductive medicine
This Los Angeles fertility doctor earned her Bachelor of Science in microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Guner then attended medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona.
Joie Guner MD completed both her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Science from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine, as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Embryology from the University of Oxford in Oxford, United Kingdom.
Today, this Los Angeles fertility doctor is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.

Joie Guner MD treats infertility and endocrinopathies affecting reproduction. She also performs minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Guner has both clinical and research interests in developing innovative infertility medications, having previously conducted research at the Center for Drug Discovery at Baylor College of Medicine. This doctor also has an interest in understanding how the fallopian tubes and endometrium play a role in embryo implantation. She is interested in treating patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids and uterine anomalies.
Dr. Guner strives to improve the reproductive health of her patients at USC Fertility. She finds it a privilege to practice reproductive medicine, and participate in the education of medical students and trainees.
She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also supports RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association initiatives. Dr. Guner speaks English, Turkish and Spanish.
