The team at USC Fertility realizes that patients can’t always make it to our Los Angeles fertility center for a consultation. This could be due to a busy schedule, wanting to avoid LA traffic, or even being in a different city or country. To help bypass these barriers, we offer video fertility consultations so that you can easily start your fertility journey with us.

Understanding the basics of video fertility consultations

Our Los Angeles fertility center offers these consultations to any California resident or international patient who would prefer to meet remotely.

As part of the Keck School of Medicine, we can support patients who speak other languages. We can schedule interpreters who can be present at video and in-person appointments.

You get the same quality care, attention to detail and information you need, just without having to leave the comfort of your home or office.

These appointments are no different than in-person consultations

Just like our in-person appointments, video fertility consultations last an hour. Before your appointment, your doctor will send your medical records to our Los Angeles fertility center. Your fertility specialist will have reviewed your records before your appointment so that you can make the most of your time together.

During your video appointment, you and your doctor will discuss your medical and fertility history. This includes the results of any previous fertility tests or treatments. If necessary, your doctor will discuss any diagnostic tests you will need to undergo before moving forward. Finally, you’ll learn about the different fertility treatment options that may be available to you. You’ll also be able to meet with a nurse and a billing specialist as part of the appointment.
