This month has been an amazing one. There have been over a dozen new births, and even a couple sets of twins. My name is Rachel Gilbert and as one of the medical secretaries here at USC Fertility, I have the opportunity to stay in touch with our parents-to-be when they graduate from our clinic, which is usually around 8 weeks.

During this time we all have such a close connection with each and every one of our patients. I really love this part of my job because I get to hear so many stories and experiences they’ve had while enjoying their new bundles of joy.

This week we had a visit from a very beautiful 3 ½ weeks old little girl and her family. I have to mention this beautiful baby girl seemed extremely comfortable here and especially in Dr. Paulson’s arms. I also had the chance to talk to one of Dr. Chung’s patients whose twins have just turned 1 year old, and they will be starting swimming lessons shortly.

I can’t believe how time flies. Another couple stopped in with their 8 month old son to pay a visit to our staff, and also update their address so we could send them an invitation to our famous bi-annual mother’s day celebration which will be May 2010.

As you can see, every day brings new happenings, and this is just one of the many blessings that I receive by working here.
